Hand-Built Smoke-Fired Vessel – Ashraf Hanna Clay with Rag-Tied Oxides
This tall, sculptural vessel is crafted from Ashraf Hanna clay and smoke-fired using a traditional rag-tied oxide technique. The textured surface bears organic markings created by fire and fume, with tones of charcoal, rust, and deep oxblood red subtly merging across its form. Each piece is entirely unique, shaped by both artist and flame.
