Bird Boxes.
2003. (Exterior MDF, Oil paint.)
This is an installation that developed from the Red Tents project. It was originally sited in a small copse at Postford House, for the Albury Arts Exhibition ‘Location, Location, Location, and was created specifically to match the scale of the trees there.
It is a celebration of the transient nature of fertility, and was placed to contrast the backdrop of the often overlooked continuous industry happening within the woods.
